Effexor Side Effects: Migraine Headaches
Effexor is a prescription drug that is used to treat depression. Like many other drugs and medicines, there are some Effexor Side Effects that can be expected by patients who take the drug. Most of the patients experience common side effects that are usually minor and require no treatment for them to disappear. However, there are those side effects that are serious and require immediate medical attention. Migraine headaches are some of the serious effexor side effects and they should be reported to a doctor as soon as possible.
Migraine headaches occur to up to 25% of the patients who take this effexor. Patients experience a severe, throbbing and intense pain on one or both sides of the head. Other symptoms that may accompany migraine headache include nausea/vomiting, and sensitivity to sound and light.
